There wasn’t any secure parking available, which forced me to pay for street parking. The layout of the hotel felt like a maze, and navigating it took time given its level differences and staircases. The actual junior suite lacked the typical sitting area one might expect, while the minuscule bathroom, although modernized, featured an unpractical black hand basin that looked perpetually dirty after use. The breakfast quality seemed off, with items not feeling fresh, and additional costs for common items like omelettes felt unjustified.

Our stay at Relais Antica Badia was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm staff, who offered unique insights about Ragusa. The blend of modern comfort and exquisite historic charm truly stood out, especially during breakfast surrounded by grand frescoed ceilings. Each morning, we savored delightful pastries, homemade Italian specialties, and a variety of fresh fruit. It felt like something special each day!

However, we were a bit disappointed that the on-site restaurant required reservations weeks in advance. Additionally, the path leading to the entrance felt a tad confusing and could have been better marked for first-time visitors.

The beautifully renovated historical building offered an intimate atmosphere that was a delight to experience. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a sumptuous variety with impressive quality. I particularly loved the charming dining space adorned with frescoed ceilings, making each meal feel special.

The pillows and mattress were a bit too firm for my liking, which affected my sleep quality.

Great spacious Junior Suite with a comfy bed and soundproofing. It had a mini bar and coffee machine. Really enjoyed the lavish breakfast with fresh fruits and pastries. The spa was nice too! Facilities included a sauna and steam room, ideal for relaxing after exploring Ragusa.
